●USERS Recovery Vehicle
In Cooperation with: This satellite module was successfully collected by unmanned operation in May 2003 after being used to conduct an experiment of producing high-temperature superconductive material in orbit around the Earth. |

●The Vehicle used for the High Speed Flight Demonstration Program Phase I
In Cooperation with: This vehicle is used for takeoff and landing experiments in the study of reusable space transportation systems, and the vehicle was used for the flight demonstration conducted on Christmas Island in November 2002. |

●ESPR Technology Demonstration Engine
In Cooperation with: Technologies to reduce CO2, NOx, noise, etc. were studied during the development of the engine for supersonic aircraft flying at Mach 2.2 with 300 passengers. |

●Reusable Rocket (RVT9) Scale Test Model
In Cooperation with: A basic experiment for vertical lift-off and landing of a prototype vehicle equipped with a liquid hydrogen engine was conducted. This is a prototype model for which the third experiment was successfully conducted at Noshiro Testing Center in Akita Prefecture. |

A special theme exhibition was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Japan Defense Agency and Japan Self-Defense Forces introducing a wide range of activities undertaken by the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
