JAPAN AEROSPACE 2004 REPORT COMMENTS by EXHIBITORS

Some applicants have made requests and expressed their expectations for JA2008.

●NEC CORPORATION

Highly evaluating the global scale and importance of JA2008, NEC Corporation was the first to apply to exhibit at JA2008. The staff in charge of the exhibition at NEC noted, “NEC has been expanding and will continue to expand the business of radars and navigational aid systems worldwide. JA2008 is the only international exhibition catering to the Japanese aerospace industry. We would like to take advantage of such an opportunity to provide information so that our business may be better understood by people throughout the world.”

We will introduce comments by exhibitors regarding the results obtained from JA2004.

●BRUSH WELLMAN (JAPAN), LTD. : Received inquiries from several Japanese firms by exhibiting beryllium and beryllium-containing alloys .

We are the Japan domestic sales agent for Brush Engineering Material of the USA and have participated continuously in TA2000 and JA2004, exhibiting mainly beryllium and beryllium-containing alloys (Al-Be, BeCu). Beryllium and beryllium-containing alloys are widely used, especially within America on aerospace structures and on avionics related parts; however, there are few business leads in Japan. Fortunately, we were able to get valuable information and conduct business at Japan Aerospace. Many valuable inquiries are obtained through both shows, and there was a lead that has now become a very important project within our company. Each time the fact is brought home that, at an exhibition, you can get first-hand information from the trade visitors and exchange information to the extent that other forms of publicity cannot compare. Also you can discover completely new points of view, which cannot be had from normal everyday business. We are definitely planning on exhibiting at JA2008.

●APACHE AEROSPACE INC.: Received inquiries from several Japanese firms by
exhibiting special drilling and milling products for Aerospace Industry.

APACHE AEROSPACE is a supplier of special cutting drills in the United States mainly for Boeing Co. We have won various awards including the Superior Enterprise Award from Boeing, and our sales volume has grown steadily, particularly in North America. We decided to exhibit at JA2004 to expand our sales in Asia including Japan. Thanks to JA2004, we have received
business inquiries from several Japanese firms such as a large heavy-industry company and have already entered into business negotiations with one of them. Although it usually takes time to achieve success in Asia including Japan, JA2004 has brought us many valuable opportunities leading to success. We plan to participate in JA2008 as an exhibitor again to expand our business opportunities.
